If you are in Orléans and have CDCP coverage, St. Joseph Dental Studio accepts CDCP patients and welcomes new patients.

What Is CDCP?
CDCP stands for the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
It helps eligible Canadians get access to dental care when they do not have private dental insurance.
The program may help with the cost of common dental services, depending on your eligibility, coverage, and treatment needs.
Who Is CDCP For?
CDCP is designed for eligible Canadian residents who meet the program requirements.
It may help:
- Seniors
- Adults
- Families
- Children
- People without private dental insurance
- Patients who have delayed dental care because of cost
Your eligibility depends on government requirements.
If you are unsure, check your approval information or visit the official Government of Canada CDCP website.
What Dental Services May Be Covered?
CDCP may help with different types of dental care.
Services may include:
- Dental exams
- Cleanings
- X-rays
- Fillings
- Dentures
- Tooth extractions
- Root canal treatment
- Crowns
- Gum care
Coverage can vary depending on your situation and the treatment needed.
Your dentist can help explain your options before treatment begins.
Who May Qualify for CDCP?
You may qualify for CDCP if you meet the government’s eligibility requirements.
In general, CDCP may be available to Canadian residents who:
- Do not have access to private dental insurance
- Have an adjusted family net income under $90,000
- Filed their tax return for the previous year
- Are Canadian residents for tax purposes
Eligibility is determined by the Government of Canada.
If you have already been approved for CDCP, you can contact St. Joseph Dental Studio to request an appointment and review your next steps.

How CDCP Payments and Co-Payments May Work
CDCP may help cover part or all of the cost of eligible dental services.
The amount covered depends on your adjusted family net income and the treatment being provided.
Here is the general CDCP payment breakdown:
- Income under $70,000: CDCP may cover 100% of eligible service costs at CDCP-established fees
- Income from $70,000 to $79,999: CDCP may cover 60%, and the patient may pay 40%
- Income from $80,000 to $89,999: CDCP may cover 40%, and the patient may pay 60%
CDCP may not cover every cost.
You may still have to pay if:
- The service is not covered by CDCP
- The treatment cost is higher than the CDCP-established fee
- A co-payment applies to your income level
Before treatment begins, the dental team can help explain what may be covered and what costs may apply.
